Job Summary:
The System Software Programmer - Project Lead will lead software development efforts within the Web Application Development team, focusing on delivering new Economic Services Re-Engineering projects and the Refugee Management System. This role requires a motivated individual with strong programming skills to manage and contribute to key state government software initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead software development projects related to Economic Services and Refugee Management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement web applications.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain high-quality coding standards.
- Participate in interview processes and candidate evaluations as needed.
- Adapt to hybrid and potentially fully onsite work environments as required.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience as a software programmer with leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of web application development and software engineering principles.
- Valid security clearance as required by the position.
- Residency in South Carolina or willingness to relocate at own expense prior to start.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Economic Services Re-Engineering projects or Refugee Management Systems.
- Familiarity with hybrid work environments and remote collaboration tools.
Special Considerations:
- Candidate must be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate prior to starting.
- Role is hybrid with 3 days onsite per week, subject to change to fully onsite with little notice.
- Participation in a two-round interview process including in-person interview with minimal notice.

Scheduling:
- Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
- Contract duration is 12 months with possibility for extension.
- Work schedule includes hybrid onsite presence (3 days per week) with potential shift to fully onsite.
