About The Job:
As a Technical Program Manager, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be managing the mechanical/process operations side of projects from initial build through ramp. You will work closely with the Product Design team to ensure design for manufacturability, and you will lead the Contract Manufacturing Process Engineering team on all aspects of the assembly process from fixture design to fixture/line qualification
Job Description:
Serve as technical operations representative in core teams and executive forums for product line.
Drive resource planning, and build and communicate manufacturing process development plans, schedules/milestones, and readiness.
Coordinate and support cross-functional development activities and issues to enforce Phase Gate milestones and deliverables, enabling highest levels of Quality and Reliability built into the modules.
Support Product NPI builds and works with onsite teams to resolve any technical related issues. Anticipate problems and formulate efficient solutions for given circumstances so as not to impede progress of the project.
Drive technically complex product and process issues with cross-functional teams maintaining timely and succinct information flow. Identify project risks and drive mitigation plans, prioritizing activities and influencing internal teams and vendors.
Required Qualifications:
Must have at least 5-7 years of manufacturing engineering experience with consumer electronics products in FATP (Final Assembly Testing & Packaging) process.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with technical program management, supplier quality, or process development managing assembly processes.
Proficient in English anh Chinese.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the consumer electronics industry, successfully launched new products in Contract Manufacturer or Module factories.
Direct experience managing functional engineering or manufacturing teams.
Working knowledge of quality and statistical tools and methods.
A self-starter with problem-solving and integrity, willing to work with a global cross-functional team under a versatile environment.
Exceptional verbal, written communication skills, proven influencing/negotiating/relationship-building skills.
