Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Systems Architect in Albany, NY.
Description:
The System Architect Will Lead the design, development, and implementation of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) solutions.
- Define cloud strategy and architecture to align with business goals and objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance GPC environments.
- Create detailed architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation plans for GPC projects.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of GPC resources, including computing, storage, networking, and databases.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts using tools like Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and implement improvements to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and operations, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud solutions.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members and stakeholders on GPC best practices and new technologies.
- Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.
- Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
- 84 months of experience working with Google/AWS Cloud platform automation in an SRE or DevOps organization.
- 60 months of hands-on experience as a Java Lead and/or Java Architect
- 36 months experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Deep understanding of cloud networking, storage, and computing concepts
- 12 months of experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana).
- 12 Months experience as an enterprise architect or principal engineer in a role focusing on cloud infrastructure.
- 12 Months Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions.
