As our System Specialist m/f/d, you'll play a vital role in delivering the cutting-edge virtual advertising technology trusted by some of the world's leading sports organisations. From preparing and maintaining our systems in Cologne to operating them during live broadcasts across Europe and beyond, you'll be at the heart of delivering technology that very few companies in the world offer.

This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with live event delivery. Working within a close-knit team, you'll help ensure our platform performs flawlessly when it matters most, supporting broadcasters, production teams and clients during some of the biggest sporting events on the planet.

As our technology continues to evolve through AI, computer vision and next-generation virtual advertising, you'll play an important part in shaping how live sport is delivered in the future.

Your Mission

You'll be responsible for ensuring our systems are always ready to deliver world-class live broadcasts. Working from our Cologne operations hub and on-site at live events, you'll take ownership of preparing, maintaining, deploying and operating our technology while supporting continuous improvements across our technical operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare, configure, test and maintain systems ready for deployment to live sporting events.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and software updates across operational equipment.
  • Manage system inventory, documentation and deployment readiness.
  • Support the integration, acceptance testing and validation of new hardware and software.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and contribute to improving system reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Support operator training, demonstrations and internal technical testing.
  • Deploy as a system operator and technical lead for live sporting events across Germany, Europe and occasionally worldwide.
  • Configure, operate and monitor systems throughout live productions.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and workflow issues in real time during live broadcasts.
  • Work directly with broadcasters, production teams and clients both on-site and remotely.
  • Produce post-event reports and recommend operational improvements to continually enhance service delivery.

What You'll Bring

Essential

  • Experience working within live broadcast, sports production, AV or IP-based media environments.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networking.
  • Experience working with server hardware and technical systems.
  • Confident operating within fast-paced, live operational environments where reliability is critical.
  • Professional working proficiency - written and verbal - in English.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, often at short notice, across Germany, Europe and occasionally worldwide.

Desirable

  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
  • Understanding of broadcast workflows and system integration.
  • Previous experience leading technical operations or coordinating freelance teams during live events.
  • German language skills.
