Term : W2 role Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tableau & Databricks Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data analytics and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Tableau, with experience building enterprise-grade data pipelines and interactive dashboards. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to deliver high-quality reporting and insights. Tableau commonly integrates with Databricks to provide analytics on large-scale Lakehouse data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
- Build scalable data models and optimize Delta Lake tables.
- Develop interactive Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports.
- Connect Tableau to Databricks and optimize dashboard performance.
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements.
- Create reusable datasets, semantic layers, and data marts.
- Optimize SQL queries and Spark jobs for performance.
- Implement data quality, validation, and governance processes.
- Schedule and monitor Databricks workflows and jobs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support.
- Document technical designs, data mappings, and operational procedures.
- Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprint ceremonies.
Required Skills Must Have
- 5+ years of BI/Data Engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Databricks.
- Expertise in PySpark and Apache Spark.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Strong Tableau Dashboard development.
- Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud experience.
- Delta Lake.
- Data modeling (Star Schema & Dimensional Modeling).
- Experience with Git and CI/CD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
