Sr Tech Lead - Full stack developer

About the Role

Join Aristocrat as a hardworking and versatile Full Stack Developer to make a significant impact on our iLottery game platform! You'll contribute to crafting rich HTML5/JavaScript game experiences on the client side while developing sturdy .NET backend engines and services. Collaborate closely with product owners, QA engineers, and designers to produce high-quality, scalable, and engaging gaming solutions that will excite our users and raise industry standards!

What You'll Do

• Develop mobile and web games on HTML5 platforms and web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Build and maintain interactive game UIs or equivalent experience with pixel-perfect rendering using PIXI.js
• Develop, maintain, and integrate .NET backend applications and game engines for iLottery games
• Build and implement RESTful and/or gRPC-based backend services using ASP.NET Core
• Implement and integrate Spine animations into game flows
• Prepare and fine-tune games for mobile devices and web browsers supporting multiple screen sizes and resolutions
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of frontend game components
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable C# code following OOP and design pattern guidelines
• Work together with front-end developers, QA engineers, and product owners in a cross-functional Agile/Scrum team
• Work with relational databases (SQL Server / PostgreSQL) and in-memory stores (Redis)
• Write unit tests and maintain high code quality standards

What We're Looking For

• At least 3+ years' proven experience developing games for HTML mobile/web — Must
• At least 5+ years' experience in JavaScript development — Must
• 3+ years of .NET development experience — Must
• Strong knowledge of C# — Must
• Experience in adapting applications for mobile devices and web browsers
• Experience with PIXI framework
• Experience with TypeScript programming
• Experience with Spine animations
• Experience working in Agile methodology with Scrum framework
• Responsible, dedicated teammate with excellent communication skills — Must
• Experience with ASP.NET Core backend services — Must
• Knowledge of OOP, build patterns, and familiarity with multithreaded and distributed systems — Must
• Experience writing unit tests — Must
• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL — Must
• Familiarity with Redis or other NoSQL/in-memory data stores — Must
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) — Must
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities — Required
