YOUR IMPACT

At Ateko, the Nova team builds internal platforms and tools that are used every day by our own employees to support operations, reporting, and automation across the organization. As a Tech Lead – Full‑Stack Developer, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving these internal products. This role goes beyond feature delivery: you will take ownership of technically complex and sometimes ambiguous areas, raise the overall quality of our codebase and architecture, and help the team make sound, scalable technical decisions.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role, focused on execution, quality, and clarity, it is not a people management or client‑facing position.

YOUR TEAM

You will join the Nova team, a product oriented internal development team working 100% remotely.

Nova is distinct from many other teams at Ateko:

  • We build stand‑alone web applications, primarily in React.
  • ServiceNow is used as a backend system, data source, or integration point, alongside other internal platforms.

You will collaborate closely with other internal teams when integrating or depending on shared systems, pipelines, or data sources.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your day to day will look like this:

  • Design, build, and maintain modern full‑stack web applications used internally at Ateko.
  • Spend approximately 50% of your time coding, staying close to the product and leading by example.
  • Take technical ownership of complex or undefined areas, clarifying requirements and proposing robust solutions.
  • Propose, document, and align architecture and technical design decisions with the team.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, and performance through reviews, refactoring, and technical guidance.
  • Support and mentor other developers through code reviews, design discussions, and shared problem‑solving.
  • Participate in system integrations with ServiceNow and other enterprise platforms.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams when solutions span multiple systems.
  • Contribute to and challenge CI/CD pipelines and development workflows, in collaboration with platform or DevOps stakeholders.
  • Help reduce technical debt and improve the long‑term health of our products.

THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The following experience will help you succeed in this role. However, if you don’t meet all these criteria, we will still be happy to consider your application, because we’re looking for potential first.

  • Solid experience as a Senior FullStack Developer or Tech Lead, with hands‑on delivery.
  • Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript in production environments.
  • Backend experience with Node.js, APIs, and data driven systems.
  • Experience designing and evolving application architectures.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow as an integrated system (APIs, data access, workflows), without necessarily being a ServiceNow platform developer.
  • Good working knowledge of CI/CD concepts (e.g., GitHub Actions or similar).
  • Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces, with the ability to structure and clarify them.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a distributed team.
  • French is required for day‑to‑day communication.
  • English is required for documentation, tooling and cross‑team communication.

Assets

  • Experience with Azure or cloud‑based platforms.
  • Experience working on internal tools or developer centric platforms.
  • Exposure to security, reliability, or compliance concerns in enterprise environments.
  • Experience mentoring other developers.
