We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead (Java / Angular) to join a cross-functional technology team working on a modern data-driven platform supporting complex business processes within the life sciences sector.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role - you will combine software development with technical decision-making, solution design and supporting the development team.

This is you
Several years of professional experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java.
Solid experience with Angular and modern frontend development.
Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Senior Developer, or in a similar technical leadership role.
Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns and engineering best practices.
Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and working with distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD and version control.
Ability to balance hands-on development with technical leadership and mentoring.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.
Good command of English.
This is your role
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of software engineers.
Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Java and modern frontend applications using Angular.
Make architectural and technical decisions, ensuring solutions are maintainable, secure and fit for purpose.
Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders, product owners and other technical teams.
Drive best practices around software development, code quality, testing and engineering standards.
Review code and provide technical feedback and mentoring to team members.
Identify technical risks and propose effective solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools and ways of working.
Stay hands-on with development and actively contribute to delivering key features.
