Tech Lead Data Engineer / Data Architect (x2) – Contract Location: Barcelona, Spain (hybrid/onsite as required) Rate: ~€450/day (versátil for strong candidates) We’re looking for 2 highly experienced Tech Lead / Senior Data Engineering Architects to lead the design and delivery of an enterprise-scale data platform. You’ll drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and work with stakeholders across multiple time zones to deliver secure, scalable, compliant data solutions for analytics and BI. Must-have skills Data Mesh (core concepts and practical implementation) Snowflake (architecture, performance tuning, security, cost optimisation) AWS (hands-on delivery experience) dbt (ELT framework design and best practices) Strong Python and advanced SQL (complex query optimisation) Proven data engineering / data architecture background Key responsibilities Own end-to-end data platform architecture and delivery (Snowflake-led) Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt and cloud-native tooling Establish standards (modeling, naming, governance, quality, lineage, cataloguing) Implement CI/CD & Data Ops practices (testing, deployment, monitoring) Partner with global stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions Ensure GDPR and related compliance requirements are met Provide technical leadership and mentoring across the engineering team Nice to have Orchestration (e.G., Airflow or similar) Data lake / lakehouse exposure BI tooling (Tableau / Power BI) Regulated-industry experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
