Job Title: Technical Lead - Cloud & DevOps
This role will be pivotal in shaping the company's technology landscape, ensuring robust architecture, secure systems, and innovative solutions that support business growth. The successful candidate will combine technical depth with leadership skills, serving as both a hands‑on architect and a mentor to the IT team.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture: Define and oversee application architecture, ensuring scalability, resilience, and alignment with business strategy.
- Programming Oversight: Review and verify code structures; provide guidance on best practices in software development.
- Cloud Expertise: Lead cloud strategy and implementation, with strong knowledge of AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- DevOps Leadership: Drive automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Cybersecurity: Strengthen security posture through risk assessments, audits, and proactive measures to safeguard systems and data.
- Application Architecture: Design and oversee enterprise applications, ensuring integration across business functions.
- AI Collaboration: Partner with the Data team to advance the company's AI journey, embedding intelligence into business processes.
- Team Coaching: Mentor IT team members, fostering skill development and a proactive, solution‑oriented culture.
- Independent Leadership: Operate with autonomy, taking ownership of initiatives while reporting progress to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Computer Science or relevant disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline.
- Proficiency in cloud platform engineering, preferably on AWS.
- Strong expertise in containerization technologies like ECS, EKS, Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Technical leadership/ team mentoring experience.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Proficiency in RDMS e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL.
- Full stack development background is preferred; hands on with scripting languages like Python.
- Proficiency in VueJS is a plus.
- Experience in AI tools/POC development e.g. AI Agents/ Workflow Automation (nice‑to‑have).
- Certification in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect is a plus.
- Native speaking Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
