Role: Technical Principal Engineer (.NET, React/Next.js, Azure & AI)
Location: Campbell, California Hybrid (need locals)

Key Responsibilities
Application Development
Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Build scalable backend services and APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and .NET technologies.
Deliver secure and performant enterprise applications supporting payroll, tax, immigration, and other business-critical workflows.
Design and implement reusable UI components, shared libraries, and design systems.
Cloud & Platform Engineering
Build and operate cloud-native solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure PaaS services.
Implement secure deployment architectures, networking, identity management, and operational tooling.
Develop and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud services.
Establish observability using:
o Azure Application Insights
o OpenTelemetry
o Distributed tracing
o Structured logging
o Monitoring and alerting frameworks
Architecture & Integration
Contribute to enterprise architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
Design REST-based and event-driven integration architectures.
Build scalable microservices and micro-frontend architectures.
Architect and implement:
o Next.js App Router
o Next.js Zones
o Webpack Module Federation
o Nx/Turborepo Monorepo environments
Define integration patterns supporting enterprise-scale workloads and cross-platform interoperability.
AI & Agentic Development
Design and build AI-native applications and workflows.
Implement AI-powered capabilities including:
o Prompt Engineering
o LLM API Integration
o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
o AI-assisted business workflows
Leverage AI coding agents such as:
o Claude Code
o Codex
o GitHub Copilot
o Similar AI development tools
Utilize spec-driven development methodologies to guide both human and AI-assisted implementation.
Evaluate and operationalize AI models, APIs, orchestration frameworks, and toolchains.
Security & Compliance
Implement secure software development practices suitable for regulated environments.
Design solutions incorporating:
o OAuth 2.0
o RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
o Data Encryption at Rest and In Transit
o Privacy Controls
o Auditability Requirements
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.
Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor engineering teams through code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
Collaborate closely with Product, Business, Implementation, and Client-facing teams.
Drive engineering best practices across development, testing, deployment, and operations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
Strong hands-on expertise in:
o React.js
o Next.js
o TypeScript
o JavaScript
Strong backend development experience with:
o C#
o ASP.NET Core
o .NET
o Web API
o MVC Frameworks
Extensive experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
Proven expertise with:
o System Design
o Design Patterns
o Security Architecture
o Scalable Distributed Systems
o Performance Optimization
Experience working in highly regulated and compliance-driven environments.
Strong understanding of secure SDLC practices and software architecture principles.
Experience using AI-assisted development methodologies and agentic development workflows.
Demonstrated experience integrating AI capabilities into production applications.
