The Technical Lead is a hands-on software engineering leader responsible for guiding a development team, ensuring alignment with the technical direction, and delivering high-quality products. This role combines technical leadership with backend and full-stack development responsibilities, with a focus on building reliable services, integrating systems, and supporting modern delivery practices in cloud and microservices environments.Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a development team to ensure alignment with the technical direction
- Ensure quality products are delivered through sound engineering practices
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring/Spring Boot
- Design and implement APIs and integrations using REST/JSON/XML and message queue concepts
- Support microservices architecture and related integration patterns
- Apply continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices using appropriate tools
- Contribute to cloud-native infrastructure and DevSecOps-aligned development approaches
- Collaborate on deployment and release activities for applications
- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code and support maintainability
- Use unit testing practices to help ensure code quality and performance
- Work with version control systems such as Git to manage and review code changes
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot for backend development
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Strong understanding of API, microservices, and integration concepts (e.g., REST, JSON, XML, message queues)
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS or Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes, ceremonies, and methodologies
- Experience writing efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Familiar with unit testing to ensure code quality and performance
- Experience with version control systems like Git
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Cloud Native Infrastructure, DevSecOps, and Microservice Architecture
- Experience with deploying applications to App Store and Play Store
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS
- Solid foundation in backend, web, and mobile application development
