Join a large local government organisation responsible for maintaining and improving critical road infrastructure across a growing community. Working within a collaborative Civil Technical Services team, you'll contribute to the planning and delivery of road maintenance and renewal programs that enhance network performance, safety and serviceability.
Your new role
As a Senior Technical Officer Civil, you will provide technical support for the assessment, planning and delivery of road pavement maintenance and rehabilitation projects. Your responsibilities will include undertaking inspections and condition assessments, investigating pavement defects, preparing scopes of work and cost estimates, and supporting the development of renewal and maintenance programs.You will work closely with engineers, asset management teams and operational crews to identify appropriate treatment strategies, coordinate maintenance activities and ensure infrastructure data and records remain accurate and up to date.This is a 24-month contract opportunity with the potential for permanent placement.
