Responsibilities
- Strategic Program Leadership
- Drive the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for a portfolio of complex, multi‑year programs
- Ensure alignment with company‑level strategic priorities and clearly demonstrate business impact
- Apply strategic thinking to balance near‑term execution demands with long‑term technical and organizational objectives
- Portfolio Management & Execution
- Directly lead and manage multiple high‑visibility programs from concept through deployment
- Define program scope, facilitate build‑versus‑buy analyses, and develop comprehensive business cases, charters, and execution plans
- Track progress rigorously across initiatives, ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely escalation of issues
- Operational Excellence & Process Ownership
- Champion and institutionalize best‑in‑class delivery and execution practices across development teams
- Own and continuously improve processes, tools, metrics, and communication mechanisms
- Leverage data, KPIs, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement and predictable delivery
- Executive Alignment & Communication
- Partner closely with Directors, Senior Staff, and executive leadership across Engineering, Product, and Business teams
- Align roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, negotiate technical and delivery trade‑offs, and facilitate critical decision‑making
- Provide concise, high‑quality reporting on program health, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to senior stakeholders and governance forums
- Risk & Dependency Management
- Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate complex cross‑program risks and dependencies spanning multiple teams and organizations
- Demonstrate tenacity in driving resolution of long‑standing, ambiguous, or structurally complex challenges
- Clearly communicate impacts and proposed resolution paths to all relevant stakeholders
- Performance Tracking
- Define, track, and communicate Program KPIs and Portfolio OKRs
- Provide transparent reporting tied to strategic business outcomes, execution health, and value delivery
Experience
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in Technical Program Management within a large‑scale, enterprise software environment
- Proven ability to lead multi‑year, high‑impact programs across multiple xhfqzwm organizational boundaries
- Deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud platforms, and the complexities of building and operating global, highly available systems
- Strong grounding in software development principles and the full SDLC
- Demonstrated strategic mindset with the ability to translate broad business and technical objectives into executable program plans
- High emotional intelligence, with strong interpersonal awareness and the ability to influence, negotiate, and build alignment at senior levels
- Persistence, resilience, and accountability in driving outcomes across complex organizational landscapes
- Proven success implementing, scaling, and optimizing agile delivery methodologies (e.G., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) at team and organizational levels
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Compensation
Salary Range: €67,000 – €77,000 gross per year, depending on experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
