Mid Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in program management. Experience with embedded software development. Experience with Display Engineering.
Preferred qualifications: 5 years of experience managing cross-functional and cross-team projects. Experience in the consumer electronics industry. Experience with android, specifically in areas of multimedia. Experience with portable software on silicon.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
The Pixel Device Core Software team is responsible for the core software running on Pixel Phones. Our team comprises the major software subsystems such as core bring-up, performance, power, graphics, display, and sensors. In this role, you will work directly with the core system software engineering team and multiple cross-functional software teams to ensure display and HID (Human Interface Device) areas of the phone are brought up, and productized at power and performance to delight user experiences. You will be directly involved with shaping and driving our multi-year roadmap for phones and custom silicon.
The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
