Role Summary
We are hiring for a Technical Program Manager, Distributed Systems & Cloud Services. In this role, the selected candidate will work on a cloud-focused initiative supporting the transformation of media and entertainment technology platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to drive complex technical programs, align stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of complex technical programs involving distributed systems and cloud services.
- Create alignment across multiple teams through outcome‑driven planning, dependency management, and issue resolution.
- Build and maintain delivery roadmaps in collaboration with engineering leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Monitor program execution, track milestones, and communicate progress against objectives.
- Identify risks, manage dependencies, and proactively address potential delivery roadblocks.
- Work closely with software engineering, product management, and UX teams to deliver technical solutions from design through implementation.
- Facilitate collaboration between technical and business stakeholders to ensure program success.
- Prepare and present program updates, achievements, and status reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support Agile delivery practices and help teams improve execution effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospectives, lessons learned, and process enhancements.
- Leverage technical and operational tools to improve program scalability, visibility, and efficiency.
Must‑Have Skills
- 5 to 8 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar program delivery role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience working directly with software development teams on complex, multi‑team initiatives.
- Demonstrated knowledge of distributed systems, cloud services, and cloud platforms.
- Experience managing technical and business stakeholders across different organizational levels.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and program delivery practices.
- Experience creating executive presentations, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Ability to identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive successful program outcomes.
- Solid organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using technical tools and processes to scale program execution and delivery.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Experience working with cloud‑based products and platforms.
- Knowledge of system design principles and architectural concepts.
- Experience with data analytics and metrics‑driven decision‑making.
- Familiarity with the Media and Entertainment industry landscape.
- Experience supporting products used in visual effects (VFX), film, television, or digital content production environments.
- Background working with customers and stakeholders in media or entertainment‑focused organizations.
- Experience leading large‑scale cloud transformation initiatives.
