About the TeamAt DoorDash we’re building the industry’s most scalable and reliable delivery network to support our three-sided marketplace of consumers, merchants, and dashers. TPMs on our Engineering teams provide fundamental support to the underlying technology services, as well as the engineers building these services. Foundations Engineering is the horizontal on which DoorDash's entire product engineering org runs. It's made up of four pillars: Core Infrastructure, Developer Platform, Data Engineering and Data Platform. Every product team at DoorDash – consumer, merchant, Dasher, logistics, commerce – builds on top of Foundations.
About the RoleOur team is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Foundations Engineering to drive critical initiatives across Data Engineering, Data Platform, Core Infrastructure, and Developer Platform. This role will involve working with cross-functional teams to establish the vision, strategy, and technical direction for our foundational engineering efforts. Programs in this space will require a strong technical understanding, cross-organization coordination, stakeholder management, and ownership of results.
You will report into the centralized Technical Program Management team in Engineering and must be located in either the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, or Seattle.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
