We're looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead high-visibility subscription and identity initiatives that span multiple organizations across Amazon Music and partner teams. This person will own some of our most strategically important programs across the full breadth of identity and subscription: customer identity and account architecture, subscription growth, billing, retention, and monetization, including initiatives that lean into compliance. You'll operate at the intersection of deeply technical systems, business strategy, and executive-level decision-making, coordinating engineering, product, marketing, legal, and business stakeholders across org boundaries to deliver at scale. Programs range from net-new identity and subscription capabilities, to growth and monetization initiatives, to compliance-driven efforts, and you'll be trusted to drive whichever matters most to the business. This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fluidly between technical depth and executive strategy, and can align dozens of stakeholders across different leadership chains toward a shared outcome that affects millions of customers.
Key job responsibilitiesYou'll join the Subscription & Identity organization within Marketing and Growth Technology at Amazon Music. Our teams build the systems behind how customers discover, sign up for, and stay subscribed to Amazon Music, along with the identity and account foundations those experiences depend on. We sit at the center of the business, partnering closely with product, marketing, engineering, and business teams across Amazon Music and the broader company. The work spans the full customer journey, from how someone first creates an account and starts a subscription, to how they're billed, retained, and managed over time. Because our systems touch millions of customers and connect so many organizations, the programs we run are highly visible and directly tied to the growth of the business. Amazon Music is an immersive audio entertainment service that deepens connections between fans, artists, and creators. From personalized music playlists to exclusive podcasts, concert livestreams to artist merch, Amazon Music is innovating at some of the most exciting intersections of music and culture. We offer experiences that serve all listeners with our different tiers of service: Prime members get access to all the music in shuffle mode, and top ad-free podcasts, included with their membership; customers can upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited for unlimited, on-demand access to 100 million songs, including millions in HD, Ultra HD, and spatial audio; and anyone can listen for free by downloading the Amazon Music app or via Alexa-enabled devices.
