Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM)

Location: 1 in Texas, 1 in NY (travel as required)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support our AI infrastructure deployments at related data centers. They will focus on engineering dependency alignment and readiness across facility, hardware, software, and operational resources. The TPM will coordinate syncs between the customers and engineering teams to drive and complete facility readiness, deployment, track engineering dependencies, and operational events. They will ensure that all human resources are synchronized for on-prem builds, coordinating closely with multiple Engineering Managers (EMs) and TPMs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site focus: Youll spend over 50% of your time at the data center, getting hands-on with the build process.
  • Drive readiness alignment across engineering teams to ensure hardware, software, and resource dependencies are complete for all on-prem build cycles.
  • Validate that the facility, deployment plans, materials, software assets, and personnel resources are accurately tracked and available for execution.
  • Collaborate with multiple EMs and TPMs to resolve dependency gaps across compute, network, and storage domains.
  • Assist in the creation of reports, build summaries, and execution trackers for ongoing and planned builds.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, operations, supply chain) to ensure timely delivery of components and seamless program handoff.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on program health, risks, mitigations, and status of builds.
  • Travel periodically within the United States to data center locations or engineering sites for build readiness assessments and coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 510 years of program management experience in large-scale data center, hardware, or infrastructure environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent large-scale programs involving physical infrastructure and IT system integration.
  • Experience driving milestones governance from early facility acceptance through operational handoff.
  • Experience with data center bring-up operations across compute, network, and storage systems.
  • Background in network deployments and server hardware management.
  • Proficiency in tools for project tracking, Gantt chart creation, and dependency Management.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse engineering and operations teams.
  • Some familiarity with: Switches, DHCP, NTP, PXE boot, monitoring, and telemetry processes.
  • Data center infrastructure (PDUs, cooling systems, data halls, UPS units).
  • Operational procedures for server delivery, installation, and bring-up.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the United States for on-site build coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AI/ML compute infrastructure (GPU Clusters, high-density cooling, direct liquid cooling).
  • Experience managing large-scale infrastructure programs at Hyperscale or Neocloud providers.
  • Knowledge of hardware supply chain logistics, installation sequencing, and data center operations management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving program bottlenecks early.
