Job Title: Technical Program Manager – Energy & Power Generation Systems

Location: Anaheim, California - Onsite

Hours: Monday to Friday - flexible hours

The Client:

Lumicity has partnered with an exciting and expanding company operating within the clean energy and power generation space on their search for a Technical Program Manager to lead their Advanced Energy Systems team. Our client is focused on the development of advanced industrial energy solutions to produce energy.

The ideal candidate for this position will hold strong experience in Program Management positions within one or more of the turbomachinery, power electronics, power generation, data center or energy recovery industries.

The Responsibilities:

  • Build integrated program schedules across engineering, manufacturing, procurement validation and commissioning
  • Manage project scope, budgets, deliverables, and risk control
  • Identify resource needs, timelines and project requirements to ensure projects are completed efficiently and are cost effective
  • Lead cross-functional reviews, taking responsibility for key business decisions
  • Manage customer deliverables and technical questions, making them aware of project timelines and keeping them updated throughout the process
  • Coordinate suppliers, technical partners, and suppliers


The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or similar
  • 4+ years' experience leading projects within the power generation, energy recovery, turbomachinery, power electronics or similar industries
  • Previous experience leading teams, reviews, meetings and liaising with various teams across the business to ensure projects complete on time
  • Experience managing customer relations, technical requirements & questions, deliverables and expectations
  • In-depth knowledge of electromechanical product development and the manufacturing process from conception through to commissioning
  • Strong understanding of product regulatory standards (UL, IEC, CSA, EN etc)
  • Open to travel for customer meetings and supplier reviews (20-25%)
