As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Consumer & Community Banking within Consumer Card Technology, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that help achieve business goals across the firm. Your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions while effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate ambiguity and change, ensuring technology initiatives align with business objectives. With strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality in service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end management of the modernization program, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, address potential roadblocks, and implement contingency plans to maintain momentum.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
  • Use analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify improvements, and implement data-driven optimizations.
  • Promote the adoption of agile methodologies and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, leading complex technology projects in large organizations.
  • Proven experience as a TPM or similar role, focusing on modernization projects.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of modern technologies, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure.
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Excellent project management skills, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Technical fluency, including vendor product knowledge and vendor relations management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience managing resources, budgets, and teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in breaking down objectives into manageable tasks using analytical techniques.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related; Master’s preferred.
  • Experience leading cloud migration projects.
  • AWS certification background.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications are a plus.
