Technical Program Manager III, Networking Engineer

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in program management. 5 years of experience in technical program management, managing network infrastructure, physical data center design, or hardware development programs. 5 years of experience with data centers, physical network infrastructure design, including Inside Plant (ISP), Outside Plant (OSP), and structured cabling systems. 5 years of experience with cluster networking, including network topology and fiber connectivity. 5 years of experience driving cross-functional alignment and managing technical dependencies across engineering, operations, and product teams.
Preferred qualifications: Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience planning for the strategic evolution and scalability of physical network spaces to support high-throughput architectures and AI/ML workloads. Expertise in serverhall spatial optimization, rack planning, and managing thermal, power, and physical routing constraints in high-density environments. Strong technical judgment with a track record of defining long-term roadmaps and presenting complex program strategies to leadership. Ability to collaborate with network architects to translate complex logical topologies into scalable physical engineering designs.

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) on the Infrastructure Strategy and Design (ISD) Design and Engineering team, you will drive the physical network program strategy and execution for Google's global data centers. You will lead high-impact programs to establish consistency and efficiency for next-generation network infrastructure, partnering cross-functionally to co-architect designs optimized for high-performance computing and AI/ML scaling.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
