Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in Python application development, cloud-native architecture, and modern application development platforms. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, deployment, and support of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications while mentoring engineering teams and driving engineering best practices.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of software application development experience with at least 3+ years in a Technical Lead role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python application development.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Git and source code management.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs, Microservices, and event-driven applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cloud SQL.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, or OpenTelemetry.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade Python applications.
- Own end-to-end software delivery including requirements analysis, design, coding, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Design and build cloud-native solutions, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Implement application monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization using observability tools.
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
- Ensure application security through authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding standards.
- Drive Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical design discussions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance scalability, reliability, and system performance.
