About the Role
We are looking for a Technical QA Analyst to join a remote CLT opportunity in Brazil, supporting a banking technology project within a global technology environment.
This role is focused on ensuring software quality across Agile delivery cycles, with responsibilities involving functional testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, regression testing, API testing, automation exposure, and performance/load testing.
The ideal candidate should have strong QA fundamentals, experience with JIRA and test management tools, and the ability to collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders. Experience in banking, fintech, payments, financial services, or complex regulated environments will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Support QA activities within an Agile/Scrum team.
- Design, document, and execute test cases based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and system testing.
- Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA and test management tools.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and other stakeholders.
- Review requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
- Support API testing, integration testing, and regression automation when applicable.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives using modern QA tools and frameworks.
- Support performance, load, scalability, security, resilience, and stability validation.
- Help maintain quality practices aligned with governance, risk, audit, and compliance expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a QA Analyst, Test Analyst, Technical QA Analyst, QA Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with JIRA and test management tools.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Experience with functional, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
- Exposure to API testing, automation testing, and/or performance/load testing.
- Ability to understand complex workflows, identify risks, and document clear test scenarios.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Advanced English level.
- Must be based in Brazil.
Relevant Experience
Experience in any of the following areas will be highly valued:
- Banking, fintech, payments, financial services, or Core Banking environments.
- API testing with tools such as Postman, Swagger, Insomnia, Bruno, or similar.
- Automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Robot Framework, Appium, Katalon, or similar.
- Performance/load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- BDD/Gherkin practices.
- SQL or database validation.
- Regulated, compliance-driven, or high-availability environments.
