Program Manager (React & Python)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Program Manager with hands-on expertise in React.js and Python to lead and manage strategic application development initiatives for a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with onsite client stakeholders in Santa Clara while coordinating with offshore engineering teams in India to drive successful project execution, delivery governance, and technical alignment. This role requires a unique blend of:

The candidate should be comfortable operating in a hybrid techno-functional leadership role with direct involvement in architecture discussions, sprint planning, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities Program & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary interface between onsite client stakeholders and offshore development teams
- Lead program planning, execution, delivery governance, and status reporting
- Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and escalations
- Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product management
Technical Leadership:
- Provide hands-on technical guidance in React.js frontend development and Python-based backend/services
- Review solution architecture, code quality, and technical deliverables
- Support design discussions, technical estimations, and implementation planning
- Collaborate with engineering teams on scalable web application development
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and performance best practices
Offshore Coordination:
- Manage and coordinate offshore development teams based in India
- Ensure seamless communication, productivity tracking, and delivery alignment across global teams
- Facilitate knowledge transfer, prioritization, and issue resolution between onsite and offshore teams
Client Engagement:
- Participate in executive-level project reviews and client governance meetings
- Provide delivery updates, technical insights, and strategic recommendations
- Build strong relationships with client leadership and business stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- React.js
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Python
- REST APIs & microservices
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery models
- Understanding of modern frontend architecture and backend integration patterns
Program Management Skills:
- Proven experience managing large-scale application development programs
- Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience
- Experience managing distributed/global teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with enterprise clients in Silicon Valley environments
- Prior experience managing onsite-offshore delivery models
- Exposure to AI/ML, data platforms, or cloud-native applications is a plus
- PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications preferred
Experience Required:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience
- 3+ years in Program Management / Delivery Management roles
- Strong technical background in React and Python development
Location Requirement:
- Candidate should be based in or willing to relocate to Santa Clara, CA
- Ability to work closely with client stakeholders onsite
- Flexibility to coordinate with offshore India teams across time zones
