The Team:
In this pivotal role, you'll join a newly formed, high-performing team of specialists. Reporting directly to the Head of Group Technology Procurement , you'll have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions and deliver results that matter on a global scale.
The Sourcing Project Manager is responsible for the Source-to-Contract processes and must ensure that the process always runs seamlessly. Ensure accomplishment of the source to contract goals by defining needs, researching the market, running sourcing events, vetting suppliers, and negotiating complex contracts. Accountable for global sourcing execution across Technology category. Responsible to manage critical and strategic contracts.
Leading complex, high-value projects, influencing senior stakeholders, and ensuring procurement delivers innovation and measurable impact across the organization.
Advise category managers with the development of category strategies, approaches and improvement areas
Communicate and advise senior stakeholders. Lead the Sourcing and Category management experts involved during cross team projects
Coach buyers on how to negotiate, make analyses
Lead and influence cross-functional teams across regions. Perform stakeholder management activities with senior stakeholders by leveraging advanced advisory skills
Providing input for the category managers for business partnering activities, such as establishing stakeholder relationships, managing strategic initiatives, managing business innovations and assessing innovation opportunities
Provide input for the category managers during strategic activities, such as defining and managing category & sourcing approaches and strategies. Support category managers with identifying suppliers in scope during supplier segmentations
Provide input for the Back Office team with performing KYS checks and onboarding suppliers
Support the Procurement Operations team with approving and reviewing vendor master data
Provide all information to operational tools during the supplier onboarding process and support contract management with supplier phase-out
Prepare sourcing documentation and train suppliers, design & issue the RFX and consolidate RFX responses
Conduct contract negotiations with suppliers. Agree and document terms & conditions and finalize the approved contract
Get contract approvals and start onboarding process and content creation. Send the contract to the supplier and retrieve signatures from both parties
Provide input for the Leadership team with evaluating available supplier innovations and strategies
Function as a senior sourcing SME and possess deep category knowledge to execute complex sourcing initiatives across categories
Drive contract and third party risk compliance
Collect performance measurements and data. Perform product & service quality assessments. Verify the quality of products & services against contractual terms & conditions
Another - to embed category management practices in close collaboration with local procurement teams, thereby unlocking strategic category opportunities. it also involves ensuring the consistent adoption and practical application of these capabilities across all locations.
University / Post Graduate (Masters degree) in Computer Science or similar
- 6 years in Procurement area at tactical/strategic level in an international financial services provider organisation.
- 2 years experience in actively coaching (functional) procurement colleagues
- 5 years experience in strategic (and complex) contract sourcing, project management, complex negotiations, transformation and migration programs in the Technology category.
- Experience in leading and managing large-scale programs for procurement bank, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Deep understanding of the banking industry, procurement processes, including regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and emerging trends. xgiwjmb
- Proven track record in delivering Procurement Value
- Master English business language/communication perfectly (spoken as well as written)
