General Information
The Electrical Engineering Team Lead is responsible for disciplinary and functional leadership of the Electrical Engineering (EE) team within the Products of Thermal Management integrated Control Units. The role ensures global coordination of EE development activities, including headcount and budget planning, execution of EE development, and stakeholder alignment across product groups and regions.
The position drives technical excellence, team capability development, and delivery performance while acting as the primary EE interface for internal stakeholders, customers (OEMs), and suppliers
Your Key Responsibilities
The Electronics Design Engineer is responsible for ensuring the electrical design fulfils all requirements with the required technical maturity — across the full product development lifecycle.
Strategy & Technical Leadership — Provide professional EE leadership for thermal management and power transfer actuators and controllers, align EE development activities with product strategies, customer milestones, and technical requirements and define and clarify EE-related tasks, timelines, and deliverables across projects.
Budget Planning & Financial Management — Lead EE headcount planning, own EE R&D cost estimation and budgeting for all project phases (Acquisition to series and post series support). Track and report budgets using tools such as Planisware and PowerBI. Act as the first escalation point for budget and resource deviations
Engineering & Product Development — Oversee EE development across products, ensure compliance with product development processes, drive requirement engineering, test specification creation and architecture definition. Support acquisitions and ongoing series development programs
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement — Implement and improve EE development processes, tools, and templates. Support EE technology initiatives and innovation projects. Ensure adherence to engineering standards and continuous improvement practices
Team Leadership & People Management — Lead and manage the EE team, drive Coaching and capability development, Performance management (Training, career development, salary planning). Establish strong collaboration across global EE teams and Cross-functional teams (SW, ME, SY, TE and Purchasing). Foster a high-performance and collaborative culture
Stakeholder Management — Act as the main EE interface for Internal stakeholders across regions and External partners (OEMs, suppliers) and ensure alignment between product groups, customers, and engineering teams
Compliance & Governance — Ensure adherence to corporate policies and Code of Conduct, Safety, health, environmental, and legal requirements, Data protection and confidentiality standards and Promote quality management system compliance

Your Qualifications:
BE/B-Tech/Masters in Electronics/Electrical (or any equivalent streams)
Total Work Experience: 8-12 yrs
5+ years in R&D and product development
Proven experience managing multiple EE projects
Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience
Ability to work in a multicultural setup (China/Korea/Japan/Germany/North America)
Key Strengths:
Expert knowledge in PCB design and electronic components
Good knowledge on Electronic HW designs with microcontroller
Advance knowledge of Analog and digital systems, Microcontrollers and ASICs, Simulation, calculations, and failure analysis
Hands on with EE tools (e.g., Zuken, Altium, LT Spice)
Expertise in EE project planning, execution, Requirements engineering, validation, Quality and process compliance
High Voltage & Low Voltage Schematic Development and PCB Layout Design
Electric Water Pump, coolant control flow Valves with BLDC and Stepper motor control design
Deeper practical design experience of BLDC & Stepper motor design and Validation/Simulation
Deeper practical design experience of SPI, I2C, SENT, LIN, CAN design and Validation/Simulation
Good knowledge on laboratory measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, Power supply and other lab equipment’s)
