Description

In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the creation of next-generation touch and force sensing technologies, shaping the technical landscape across Apple’s product portfolio to deliver an industry-leading user experience. You will lead the development and integration of advanced sensing systems, collaborating closely with world-class suppliers and multi-functional teams across Apple.
As an Engineering Program Manager, you will drive the full lifecycle of sensing systems and features—from concept to specification, characterization to integration, and validation at both module and system levels. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary bridge for cross-functional communication and along with the engineering manager be the face of the program. Our team cultivates a creative, collaborative atmosphere and values technical curiosity, thoroughness, and engineering excellence. Preferred Qualifications

Curiosity and action oriented mindset
Masters in EE or Physics
Experience in consumer electronics
Knowledge of self and mutual capacitive touch sensing
Knowledge of strain and capacitive based force sensing
Experience using AI agents to automate complex design and validation processes
Ability to navigate ambiguity

Minimum Qualifications

BS in STEM field (e.g. EE, ME, Physics, etc.) and +3 years relevant experience
Product development, engineering, or program management experience shipping semiconductors, sensing technologies, or hardware systems in any field
Curiosity about and familiarity with AI tools—with interest to apply them to improve engineering and program workflows
Ability and willingness to travel internationally (typically once per year; accommodations available as needed)
