Role Description This is a full-time UI Engineer position with a Remote (work-from-home) setup. The UI Engineer (Angular, Python) will design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using modern Angular frameworks and best practices. The role involves collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality, performant UI components. The engineer will integrate front-end interfaces with Python-based backend services and APIs, ensuring robust data handling and secure communication. Daily tasks include writing clean, testable code, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting UI issues, optimizing application performance, and maintaining consistent UI standards. The role also includes participating in agile ceremonies, contributing to technical documentation, and continuously improving the front-end architecture and development workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong front-end engineering skills, including proficiency in Angular (components, services, RxJS, routing) and TypeScript.
- Experience in Python development for integrating UI with backend services, RESTful APIs, and server-side logic.
- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 (or SCSS), JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with version control and collaboration tools (e.g., Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) and agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and practices for front-end and API testing (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Postman).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, on-site team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization is a plus.
