What They’re Looking For

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior React/UI Developer with a proven background in delivering high-quality, scalable web applications within commercial environments. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys solving complex front-end challenges, takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code, and enjoys working closely with product, design, and engineering teams to build exceptional user experiences.

The successful candidate will be comfortable influencing technical decisions, contributing to front-end architecture, mentoring junior developers, and working within Agile delivery teams. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are equally important, alongside a passion for performance, usability, accessibility, and modern development practices.

Key skills include: Modern React architecture and component design State management and data-fetching libraries (such as Tan Stack Query) Responsive UI development and CSS-in-JS solutions Front-end testing using modern testing frameworks REST API integration Git and CI/CD pipelines Agile/Scrum delivery experience Key Responsibilities Design, develop and enhance scalable React applications and reusable UI components. Collaborate with designers, product owners and back-end developers to deliver intuitive, responsive user interfaces. Drive front-end best practices, code quality, testing standards and overall application performance. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and technical planning sessions. Build and consume RESTful APIs while working closely with cross‑functional engineering teams. Contribute to CI/CD processes and continuously improve the developer experience. Mentor less experienced developers and promote knowledge sharing across the team. Deliver high-quality software within Agile development environments while communicating progress, risks and technical solutions effectively. Nice to Have
