Job Description What will you work on? As a Senior Unity Game Developer, you will work within a talented cross‑functional team of developers, artists, animators, and play designers to build beautiful, highly interactive 2D and 3D mobile apps for children. Your focus will be on designing technically robust, high‑performance gameplay systems that encourage exploration, imagination, and discovery.
How will you create impact?
Develop and implement 3D and 2D mobile gameplay systems using C# and Unity.
Drive and architect new game features, planning scalable software solutions from concept to launch.
Write mobile‑optimized shaders and build custom Unity editor tools to streamline the creative production pipeline.
Write clear, modular, and maintainable code optimized for performance on iOS and Android platforms.
Mentor other developers and provide technical guidance to help align projects with their creative vision.
Collaborate with play designers and artists to translate visual design and physical play concepts into polished digital interactions.
Participate in playtesting reviews to analyze how children interact with the product and iterate on technical design improvements.
What are your skills and experience?
A degree or equivalent professional background in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related technical field.
Progressive professional software development experience, including acting as a senior or lead developer on multiple launched mobile games.
Expert‑level mastery of C# and the Unity engine.
Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, 3D mathematics, and custom code‑driven motion.
Experience building and optimizing mobile applications specifically for iOS and Android environments.
A proven track record of architecting, implementing, and launching large‑scale game systems.
The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $85,000 to $135,000 per annum. The offered pay will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. The company Inc. is a multi‑state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
