Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain production infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
- Deploy product updates and implement integrations and automation based on customer and business requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and production issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Build and improve highly available, scalable, and secure systems using automation and configuration management best practices
- Manage and support public cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS services such as compute, storage, networking, and monitoring
- Partner with cross-functional teams on project planning, operational readiness, and delivery
- Improve system reliability, observability, performance, and security across cloud and on-prem platforms Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps, Systems Administration, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong Linux systems administration experience
- Experience with virtualization and container technologies such as KVM, OpenStack, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience supporting infrastructure in at least one public cloud platform, preferably AWS
- Experience working in production environments with a focus on uptime, scalability, and operational excellence Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, CloudWatch, Route 53, Auto Scaling, and Elastic Load Balancing
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python
- Familiarity with databases and SQL
- Experience with source control and service delivery workflows using Git
- Understanding of REST APIs
- Experience with in-memory datastores such as Redis or Memcached
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and services including IPv4/IPv6, DNS, SSH, and
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ
- Experience with network-attached or shared storage solutions
