Overview
We are looking for an experienced Web Application Developer to support a long‑term enterprise project in Basel. The role is a 3‑year contract with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high‑performance Web applications with expertise in Angular 14+, React.js, and related technologies.
Core Responsibilities
- Translate complex UI/UX screen design blueprints into modular, reusable, testable, and optimized frontend code.
- Build fluid and responsive UIs that render uniformly across Chromium, WebKit, and Gecko browsers and across desktop, tablet, and industrial monitors.
- Integrate asynchronous state transitions, binding modern browser components to decoupled server‑side RESTful endpoints and SOAP XML web services over secure transport.
- Implement telemetry and monitoring tools to measure runtime performance latencies, capture frontend scripting errors, and format structured client‑side access logging.
- Configure secure federated frontend session initialization via secure token storage, identity handshake routines, and access validation callbacks with enterprise access controllers.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years of demonstrable enterprise frontend application development experience.
- Proficiency with Angular 14+ and/or React.js for scalable, maintainable, high‑performance applications.
- Expert knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS 3.0, and modern frontend development standards.
- Experience with Bootstrap 5+, Angular Material, Tailwind CSS, and CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less).
- Experience integrating frontend applications with enterprise identity and access management systems (Keycloak, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML).
- Strong understanding of secure coding, performance optimisation, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed project team.
- Flawless bilingual/native‑level business German proficiency (C1/C2) is required for technical panel interview.
- Must hold EU/EFTA nationality or an active Swiss permanent residency/work card (C Permit or unrestricted B/G Permit).
