Web Application Developer with strong WordPress development skills to support a public sector client. The ideal candidate will build and maintain a modern, accessible, mobile-responsive website while working closely with UX/UI designers and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins
- Develop responsive, mobile-friendly interfaces
- Build features including search, file sharing, and analytics integration
- Ensure compliance with WCAG AA accessibility standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues
- Maintain WordPress core, themes, and plugins
- Collaborate with designers, content managers, and project stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional web development experience
- Strong experience with:
- WordPress
- PHP
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- Experience developing WordPress themes and plugins
- Knowledge of responsive web design
- Experience implementing WCAG accessibility standards
- Familiarity with website security and performance optimization
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Elementor
- Experience with Google Analytics integration
- Experience working with public sector or government clients
- Familiarity with multilingual/translation frameworks
- Experience working in Agile development environments
