Web Application Developer – PHP / SIS
We are looking for an experienced Web Application Developer to design, develop, maintain, test, and support secure and high-availability applications within a critical information system environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications across the full development lifecycle.
- Work on both backend web services and frontend applications.
- Analyse functional and technical requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Develop, test, document, and support applications.
- Contribute to application security, modernization, and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to colleagues.
Required Skills
- PHP 5.6/7
- JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, Ajax
- CodeIgniter and Smarty
- SQL
- REST Web Services
- Git and DevOps
- Experience with multi-user, high-availability applications
Languages
- Native-level Dutch or French
- Working knowledge of English
Location & Contract
- Brussels, Belgium
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Start: 1 September 2026
- Contract until end of 2026, with possible extension
- Hybrid: minimum 2 days/week onsite
