Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in website development and customization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in WordPress and Shopify, with the ability to develop, customize, maintain, and optimize responsive websites and e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.

Customize WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and functionalities.

Develop and customize Shopify themes, storefronts, and e-commerce features.
-
Build responsive, user-friendly, and SEO-friendly websites.
-
Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, payment gateways, and other web services.
-
Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, performance, and compatibility problems.

Optimize websites for speed, security, responsiveness, and search engine performance.

Work closely with designers and business teams to implement website requirements.

Perform regular website updates, maintenance, and content changes.

Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
Required Skills

3+ years of professional Web Development experience.

Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with WordPress.

Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with Shopify.

Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.

Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization.

Experience with Shopify theme customization and Liquid.

Knowledge of website performance optimization and SEO best practices.

Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

Good understanding of Git/version control.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have

PHP/MySQL experience.

Experience with WooCommerce.

Experience with Shopify apps and payment gateway integrations.

Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles.

Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.
Candidate Profile
Candidates who have strong hands-on experience in both WordPress and Shopify and are comfortable working from the office in Kochi are preferred.
