Responsibilities
- Creating, building, or maintaining websites and software applications.
- Scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media are all examples of tools used.
- Meeting with groups to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or select solutions.
- Directing or carrying out website updates.
- Editing, writing, or designing website content, as well as directing content-creation team members.
- Maintaining knowledge of the most recent web applications and programming practices through education, research, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
- Backing up files from websites to local directories in case of disaster.
- Identifying and correcting problems discovered through customer feedback and testing, and referring problems to appropriate personnel for resolution.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in web development or a related field is required, as is relevant experience.
- Solid understanding and experience with programming applications.
- MySQL skills are excellent.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Programming language and technical terminology knowledge.
- Capable of developing and clearly expressing ideas and processes.
- High level of independence in judgment.
- Capable of solving complex problems.
