Web Solutions Developer III, Google Cloud Support (English)

Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications or tooling for cloud support.
- Write and review detailed technical design documents.
- Monitor and enhance performance of applications and services.
- Partner with tech leads to build reliable and scalable features.
- Understand customer and agent issues and advocate for their needs with cross‑functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- 6 years of experience in full‑stack software development and system design.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using test frameworks.
- Experience with CRMs and billing systems.
- Experience managing software development projects and prioritizing tasks.
- Familiarity with application‑level data storage, retrieval, and analysis tools and concepts such as SQL, NoSQL, logs analysis, protocol buffers, and MapReduce.
- Proficiency in machine learning, data analysis, and data science.
- Ability to work across the stack such as front‑end, back‑end and integrations.
About the Role
The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build next‑generation solutions in the cloud. As a Web Solutions Developer, you will use your technical aptitude and design skills to analyze problems, provide elegant and scalable solutions, and identify and resolve dependencies. You will be a full‑stack developer working with multiple web technologies and back‑end systems, interacting frequently and closely with stakeholders worldwide to identify pain points and devise innovative technical solutions. You should be passionate about developing software that enables business insight or scales business solutions.
Compensation and Benefits
Canada: $166,000 - $171,000 (CAD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
