Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to lead the technical revamp of our website and the development of modern web apps, transitioning to a modern stack using Node.js, Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS. The role involves integrating content via APIs, ensuring a seamless, high-performance user experience, and embracing modern "vibe coding" (AI-assisted) workflows.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the new www.am730.com.hk and engaging web apps using Node.js, Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS
Integrate content from APIs to ensure dynamic and efficient content delivery across all platforms
Leverage AI-assisted coding tools ("vibe coding") to accelerate development and problem-solving
Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces
Optimize website and web app performance, scalability, and security
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
Stay updated with the latest web/app development trends and AI technologies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in full stack web and web app development
Proficiency in Node.js, Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and a strong grasp of "vibe coding" methodologies
Experience with API integration, particularly CMS APIs (e.g., WordPress, Strapi, or similar)
Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end development practices
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PHP (to understand legacy systems during the transition)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Vercel, or similar)
Previous work on media or content-heavy websites and apps
