WebstaX Senior Java and Python Developer

We are looking for a self-driven and continuously learning senior Java and Python developer to automate the deployment of modern applications onto Kubernetes environments.

The ideal candidate will possess a profound technical understanding of cloud-native application design, Kubernetes infrastructure and containerization technologies. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with global teams and implement systems across diverse compute platforms.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile squads to design and develop technical solutions using Java, Python and Kubernetes.
• Closely collaborate with other squads across divisions to build an integrated solution.
• Work with the application development community to adopt the best practices for designing cloud-native applications, both stateful and stateless.

Minimum qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and Python development.
• Experience working with HTTPS/HTTP2 and implementing RESTful services
• Profound understanding of containerization technology (docker, OCI images) and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in modern observability stack and modern authentication like oidc.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL & NoSQL).
• Experience building and deploying distributed and multi-tenant systems
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging production systems and code.
