Welder 1st or 2nd Shift
This 1st shift welder role focuses on performing high-quality MIG (GMAW) and Flux-Cored (FCAW) welding on structural steel and fabricated components in a fabrication shop environment. You will read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols, lay out and fit parts to precise specifications, and ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards. This role is on 1st shift with a 4x10 schedule, working approximately 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Overtime is typically available on Fridays, generally not mandatory, but you should be comfortable with mandatory overtime when required, with the opportunity to reach around 55 hours in a week. The position is based in an AISC-certified fabrication shop focused on structural steel, where you work with welding equipment, structural steel components, hand tools, grinders, and precision measuring instruments. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and quality, with established safety procedures and AISC quality standards guiding daily work. Steel toe boots are required as part of the dress code, and the shop culture encourages collaboration, continuous improvement, and long-term employment.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
