- Content Updates : Implement and update content as needed, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
- Performance Optimization : Optimize site speed, security, and overall performance using best practices and tools.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Backups and Security : Set up and monitor backups, security protocols, and updates to keep the websites safe and functional.
- SEO Support : Collaborate with our team to implement basic SEO practices.
- Communication : Provide regular updates and proactively suggest improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience : Proven experience as a WordPress developer and administrator with a portfolio of past projects.
- Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and custom development (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Plugins & Tools : Familiarity with popular plugins like Elementor, WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and security plugins.
- Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues independently.
- Communication : Excellent communication skills in native or fluent English to collaborate effectively with our team.
- Time Management : Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Availability : Flexible availability to handle updates and urgent fixes during agreed-upon hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with website performance tools (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix).
- Experience with hosting environments and control panels (e.g., cPanel, Plesk, or managed WordPress hosting platforms).
- Knowledge of basic SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
