Position Description:
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Manage and support WordPress websites and applications.
• Develop and troubleshoot WordPress themes, plugins, and PHP code.
• Monitor website performance, security, and uptime.
• Resolve website, application, and database issues.
• Manage website content, publishing workflows, and user access.
• Use Google Analytics and Search Console to track website performance and suggest improvements.
• Implement security updates, backups, and vulnerability fixes.
• Coordinate with hosting providers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Support production websites and ensure smooth deployments.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and handle multiple support requests.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Have Skills:
• Strong experience with WordPress CMS administration and support.
• Proficiency in PHP development and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and custom development.
• Experience with MySQL database queries and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with website hosting environments and web servers.
• Experience with security vulnerability remediation and compliance.
Content Management Systems
• Strong understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Experience managing website content, publishing workflows, and user permissions.
Analytics Skills (Mandatory)
• Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or similar platforms.
• Ability to analyze website performance and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Soft Skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong vendor coordination experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a support environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, and MVC.
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms and CDN technologies.
• Understanding SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of website security frameworks and vulnerability management.
• Experience using source control systems such as Git.
