Senior WordPress Web Developer
Location: In-person, Saskatoon Office
Employment Type: Full-Time
Optimize is seeking a Senior WordPress Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality WordPress websites. You'll work with clients and our internal team to build scalable, responsive, and user-friendly websites that help businesses succeed online.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to discuss website requirements.
- Design and develop custom WordPress websites.
- Build website architecture, themes, and plugins.
- Customize WordPress plugins, stylesheets, and responsive layouts.
- Manage back-end development, database integration, and server connectivity.
- Conduct website performance testing and optimization.
- Troubleshoot website and content issues.
- Provide WordPress training to clients.
- Monitor and maintain live websites.
Qualifications
- Web development certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.
- Strong experience with WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
- Knowledge of responsive design, website performance optimization, and current web development best practices.
