The Position
This position's a talent acquisition and workforce allocation role by the true meaning of those words. The role covers Staff Scheduling & Allocation, Compliance & Inductions, Candidate Management, Stakeholder Communication. To successfully work this role, you'll need to have a background within the construction industry and experience with labour hire allocation. Tasks uncounted include-
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including candidate registration and onboarding and maintain a readily available pool of candidates aligned with sales forecasts
- Schedule and allocate day-to-day works across a large network of construction sites throughout NSW and action all queries and requests in a professional, consistent, and timely manner in line with agreed service standards
- Conduct referee checks and VEVO checks for all approved candidates and ensure applicant and candidate records are accurate and up to date
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and site safety requirements and correct and compliant signage is in place at sites.
- Coordinate employee entitlements including annual leave, RDOs, and personal leave.
- Arrange/manage approved employee training programs and project-specific inductions.
- Attend and conduct regular site visits and client meetings.
- Respond to after-hours calls as required within specified response time frames.
Candidate Requirements
Effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills are paramount. As is a strong work-ethic and well-developed organizational skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment and prioritize tasks as priorities change. Also required to deliver within this role-
- A minimum of 2-years sales experience within a similar role that was heavy in scheduling and allocating resources.
- Proven client and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to multitask across multiple competing priorities
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused attitude towards tasks.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team when required.
- Construction Induction (White Card) Highly-regarded if not, Essential. Potential to provide this training for the right candidate.
- Australian Citizen or PR.
- Current Drivers License.
