WORKSHOP APPRENTICE Location: Lanseria Salary: R7500 Working Hours: Mon - Fri (07:30 - 15:30) Sector: FMCG Functions: Retail, Wholesale, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Dispatching & Receiving, Food & Beverage Job Summary: Assist mechanics with vehicle and equipment repairs. Carry out basic servicing tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication. Clean, inspect, and prepare vehicles or equipment before and after repairs. Assist with diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults under supervision. Remove and install components as directed by senior mechanics. Operate workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly. Keep the workshop clean, organized, and free from hazards. Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and workshop facilities. Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Complete job cards and basic workshop documentation accurately. Assist with stock control by collecting, storing, and organizing parts and consumables. Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or incidents to the workshop manager. Work collaboratively with mechanics, supervisors, and other workshop staff. Perform any other reasonable workshop-related duties assigned by management. Requirements: 1 Year of workshop experience. Minimum qualification: Matric. Driver's licence requirement: Code 8. Start Date: As soon as possible Contract Type: Permanent
