Workshop Controller

Kia North Road An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Controller to join our team at Kia North Road. Role Overview You will be responsible for assisting in the control of service and repair work carried out in the workshop to maximise service sales and profitability. Key Responsibilities Workshop Control: Managing the workshop through efficient operation of the work loading system. Upselling: Selling value-added and incremental products through effective communication with customers, technicians, and team members. Professional Standards: Demonstrating due diligence, accuracy, and professionalism at all times. Data Processing: Recording and processing information on work carried out to customer vehicles via the work loading system. Candidate Requirements Qualifications: Qualified Technician/Mechanic with certificates is extremely desirable. Communication: Fluent English speaker with high numeracy and literacy skills. Leadership: Proven persuasion skills combined with high levels of managerial ability. Experience: Previous motor industry and after-sales background is required. Technical Knowledge: High level of mechanical and technical expertise. Systems: Knowledge of the Kerridge system is desirable but not essential. Licence: Full, clean EU driving licence is an absolute requirement.
