Job Summary
We're looking for an energetic, people-focused Youth Program Manager to lead the day-to-day operations, team, programming, and family experience at The Little Gym of Flower Mound. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, engaging with children and families, developing team members, and making sure the gym delivers an exceptional experience every day. The Youth Program Manager will oversee daily operations, support membership growth and retention, hire and develop team members, maintain high standards for program delivery, and ensure our families receive an experience that keeps them excited to come back. Because Flower Mound is a corporate-owned location, you'll also work closely with The Little Gym's home office leadership team to pilot new initiatives, improve operational processes, and support training events for new franchisees.
What You'll Do
Lead & Develop the Team
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a team that is passionate about creating great experiences for kids and families
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and support new team members
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to strengthen team performance
- Help create a positive, energetic, accountable, and team-oriented culture
- Ensure team members consistently deliver The Little Gym experience and brand standards
Deliver Amazing Youth Programs
- Teach engaging, high-energy classes using The Little Gym's proven curriculum and teaching methods
- Ensure programs are delivered consistently, safely, and in alignment with brand standards
- Create an environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn
- Help team members strengthen their instructional and classroom-management skills
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and age-appropriate child development
Create an Exceptional Family Experience
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and families
- Ensure every family receives friendly, responsive, and exceptional service
- Help resolve questions or concerns while maintaining a positive member experience
- Support member engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction
- Create an environment where families feel welcomed and connected to The Little Gym community
Support Membership Growth
- Introduce prospective families to The Little Gym programs and help them identify the right program for their child
- Support enrollment and membership goals
- Follow up with prospective and current families to encourage engagement and retention
- Help the team confidently communicate the value of The Little Gym experience
- Identify opportunities to grow participation in classes, camps, events, and other programs
Manage Day-to-Day Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the Flower Mound location
- Coordinate team schedules and ensure appropriate staffing and coverage
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming environment
- Ensure equipment and facility needs are addressed appropriately
- Monitor operational and program standards and identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with home office leadership on new initiatives, operational improvements, and brand priorities
- Support training events and other initiatives for new The Little Gym franchisees
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who brings strong leadership skills, positive energy, and a genuine passion for working with children and families.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience
- Experience working with children, youth programs, recreation, education, fitness, hospitality, or other family-focused environments
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Experience hiring, training, coaching, or developing team members
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence engaging with families and supporting membership enrollment
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Ability to create a fun environment while maintaining accountability and high standards
- Background in child development, physical education, recreation, gymnastics, or a related field is a plus
- Previous experience with The Little Gym is a plus, but not required
