Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test software for embedded electronic controls used in safety-detection applications. Key Responsibilities Develop embedded software features using C++ and Linux.
Required Education • Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required) • Acceptable Alternatives: o Associate’s degree + 6+ years of relevant experience o Master’s degree (recent graduates accepted) • Experience Level: 2-4 years of professional experience (internships count toward this) • Not Accepted: PhD (considered overqualified) Required Skills • Writing, implementing, or using REST APIs • Proficiency with Microsoft DevOps (creating user stories, tracking progress) • Basic Microsoft Suite skills (especially Excel) • Knowledge of SQL, VisualBasic, and general computer development software Technical Skills (Desired) • Familiarity with the Comprion test system Soft Skills (Required) • Strong teamwork and collaboration • Excellent organizational abilities • Clear verbal and written communication • Problem-solving and customer service orientation • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
