Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing high-performance applications. You will work closely with our developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
Develop scalable applications using Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
Design and optimize SQL databases and write efficient database queries.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Follow coding standards, design patterns, and object-oriented programming principles.
Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
Use Git for source code management and participate in version control best practices.
Work with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps initiatives for automated deployment.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must Have Skills
Strong programming skills in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
Experience with SQL databases and data modeling.
Proficiency in API development and RESTful web services.
Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
Strong debugging, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Nice to Have Skills
Hands on experience with Big Data tools like Apache Spark, HDFS, or Kafka.
Exposure to Snowflake or other modern cloud data platforms.
Experience with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.
Knowledge of Angular / NodeJS for full stack exposure.
Familiarity with Tableau or other BI tools for data visualization.
Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
